When we first launched our Kickstarter campaign at the beginning of March, we wanted to test an idea that we'd been obsessing over for almost two years: Kelp Jerky.
Would people love it or think it's totally weird? Launching on Kickstarter was our way to say "Hey, we think this is awesome, here's why, but is the world gonna bite? Does the world care about healthy food or seaweed or sustainability?"
Well, we are *very* grateful and glad that all signs point to YES. In just two weeks, we've doubled our original goal of $25,000 and we're now flying past $50,000 with the ambitious goal of breaking into six digits - becoming one of the only food companies on Kickstarter to do so!

It's a little known fact in the crowdfunding world that one of the best ways to get eyeballs on your Kickstarter is to "cross-promote" your page with other live campaigns. Since getting fully funded (we're still going!!!), we've had dozens of campaign leaders reach out about cross promotion.
After much debate, we picked 5 that we actually really love!
